On September 17, 1892, Patrick Cudahy held an auction for parcels of land near the Lake Michigan shoreline. The sale of these parcels would mark our city's historic beginnings. Now, 130 years later, we are planning an anniversary party to remember this event.
Be sure to come hungry! The Cudahy Historical Society will have a variety of tasty offerings to purchase, including: pulled pork sandwiches, chips, hot dogs, soda, water and yummy BACON treats!
Now available: remote printing! See our Digital Services page for more information.
Cudahy Family Library announces a partnership with DrivingTests.org, to offer free Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) practice tests. The new service includes free tests specifically based on the state’s DMV materials. It is the only site of its kind to include accessibility tools that let users hear selections read aloud, make them into MP3s, translate pages into other languages, magnify text, and mask portions of the screen for greater visibility on the practice tests.
