Friends of the Cudahy Library

Many of the projects that happen at the Cudahy Family Library, including the building of the Library, would not have been possible without the generous time and effort put forth by the Friends of the Cudahy Library, or FOCL. This nonprofit group, organized in 1980, has become an irreplaceable resource for the Library due to the time and effort of the members and the funds donated to the Library through the group.

FOCL Projects Include:

Fundraising and Library Promotion

Members of FOCL run the FOCL Point gift shop and promote reading and library use year-round at special events.

FOCL sells books and other items online through the online book seller site, Alibris.

Programming for All Ages

FOCL sponsors many programs for children and adults throughout the year.

College Scholarships

Each year, a scholarship is awarded to a Cudahy resident who is a high school senior seeking to continue his/her education.
